Black and White Cake

I got an email from a customer last week and I knew that I had to fit this cake into my schedule! 

She explained that her sister had been planning on getting married this summer, but that her fiance is in the military. He is going on 72 hours notice this week and they wanted to have a small wedding before he leaves. Her wedding colors are white and black, so for this cake we went with a bold black background and bold contrasting flowers and dots. The cake itself is Lemon Cake with Lemon Curd Filling and Lemon Buttercream Frosting topped with rolled fondant!
